Will Micromax Canvas 4 Beat Samsung Galaxy S4?

Posted by Mathivanan in: Android Micromax canvas 4 smartphones technology

The Micromax hype once again. The ads and reviews show much interest on this phone and created ballyhoo on this device. Micromax has proven their strategy to sell their phones but alas, ended without expected returns in case of 'Canvas HD A116'. They had a chance to understand the Indian buyers (specifically online buyers). This time they didn’t announce any specification of this phone but opened for pre-ordering the phone. Is there a point to exhort to book a phone without knowing specifications and even the price? This looks a funny strategy played by Micromax.

The hyped specifications of 'Micromax Canvas4 A210' are:

13 MP camera, 3K MAH battery, full HD, 5.5”display with 1080 p, Android Jellybean 4.2.1, 2 GB RAM, the processor would be 1.7 to 2GHz Quad Core Cortex A7, Graphics may be powered with PowerVR 5XT and internal memory is expected to be 8GB-16GB with usual ability to expand via SD card. The best part of the hoopla is the price. Various sites are throwing from Rs. 15,900 to 24,000. If they price it more than 18,000 it will be setback for Micromax for sure. They may not want to learn again and again.

Looks very fascinating, is it not? However, this android phone is compared with Samsung Galaxy S4. This is absolutely ridiculous! How could we compare without knowing anything about specs or price definitely?

One thing I would like to reiterate is “don’t be fooled of ‘Brand Power’”.  Whether it is Indian brand, multinational brand or Chinese, choose your specifications and look for the build and price then go for it. Although I won’t go for it, if you are a gadget freak, fetish and love to test the latest one, go for it. One can preorder with Rs.5000/- with refund option.
